Privacy Policy
Last updated 13 June 2026.
Who this covers
This policy covers the Glaze app and this website, glazeskintracker.com. Glaze is made by a solo developer, not a large company. If anything here is unclear, the contact details are at the bottom.
What the app collects
Nothing leaves your device. The photos you take, the products on your shelf, your routine ticks, and your notes are stored locally on your phone and are never sent to us or to anyone else. We have no server that receives them, and we could not read them even if we wanted to.
- We do not require an account, an email, or a login.
- We do not upload your photos or skin data.
- We do not use third party advertising or tracking inside the app.
- We do not sell or share your data, because we never receive it in the first place.
If you delete the app, that local data is removed with it. Back up your phone if you want to keep it.
What the website collects
The website is a simple marketing site. It sets one functional cookie to remember the language you chose, so the site stays in your language on your next visit. That cookie holds nothing personal.
The site is hosted on Vercel, which may keep standard, short lived server logs (such as IP address and browser type) for security and reliability. We do not use these to identify or profile you.
The waitlist
If you join the waitlist, the form is provided by Tally, and the email you enter is handled by Tally on their systems under their privacy policy. We use it only to tell you when Glaze is available, and you can ask us to remove it at any time.
Children
Glaze is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. Since the app collects nothing from anyone, this is mostly a formality, but we take it seriously.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will update the date at the top. For anything significant, we will make it obvious in the app or on the site.
